The Burj Khalifa

Located in Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building at a staggering 828 meters (2,717 feet). On the 122nd floor, you’ll find “At the Top”, which is the world’s highest observatory deck.

“At The Top” is open every day, though the hours vary between weekdays and weekends. Sunday through Thursday hours are 10 am until midnight, with the last entry being at 11 pm. Friday and Saturday hours are 8 am until midnight, with the last entry being at 11 pm. Entry to “At The Top” is timed and limited to 45 minutes. At the top, you’ll be able to see up to 50 kilometers (31 miles) away and experience the mild weather of Dubai’s desert climate.

The Burj Khalifa’s design was inspired by the shape of the desert flower Hymenocallis, or Spider Lily. It is also home to the world’s largest fountain, which shoots water up to 250 meters (820 feet) in the air. Outside, you’ll find a large public art piece called “The Scales of Justice”, which is made out of thousands of metal discs.

The Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall is one of the world’s most renowned shopping destinations. With over 1,200 shops and the world’s largest indoor aquarium, simply visiting the Dubai Mall is an experience in itself.
